The main islands for tourism are Sal and Boa Vista and they cater for anything from relaxed to lively holidays and from family friendly villas and hotels to intimate retreats. Cape Verde's weather is very consistently warm throughout the year with average high temperatures between 25 degrees and 30 degrees centigrade. Cape Verde makes an excellent winter sun destination. September & October tend to be the wettest months of the year.
