It’s not ideal for swimming or sunbathing, but it’s a fascinating place to observe local life and culture. You can also visit the nearby Ngala Lodge, which has a beautiful terrace overlooking a rocky cove.

Sanyang Beach: This is also known as Paradise Beach, and it’s one of the most idyllic beaches in the Gambia. It has long stretches of golden sand backed by palm trees, with barely any crowds or development. You can relax in a hammock, swim in the clear water, or enjoy a fresh seafood lunch at one of the beach shacks.
