Amazing holidays in The Bahamas
Balmy in The Bahamas
The Bahamas is a dream destination for many travellers. With its stunning beaches, crystal-clear waters and diverse attractions, it offers something for everyone. Whether you're looking for a relaxing getaway, an adventure filled vacation or a cultural immersion, you'll find it in The Bahamas.
The Bahamas boasts some of the world's best dive conditions and the most breathtaking of sites. From healthy shallow reefs and deep ocean trenches to impressive blue holes, snorkellers and divers of all levels will be blown away. Where else could you be marvelling at the colourful fish and melting at the friendly turtles one minute and swimming with pigs the next! Honestly.....you can!
Explore the islands by boat. The Bahamas is made up of 700 islands and thousands of cays, each with its own unique charm and beauty. You can hop on a boat and discover the hidden gems of The Bahamas, such as the Exumas, where you can find azure, crystal-clear water, or Coco Cay where you can enjoy a private island experience.
The Bahamas, like all of The Caribbean, has a fascinating history that spans from the pre-Columbian era to the present day. You can visit historic sites, such as the Queen's Staircase which took over 16 years to be carved, or the Marine Habitat at Atlantis which recreates the legend of Atlantis in a luxury resort. The vibrant culture of The Bahamas has to be experienced through its music, art, cuisine and festivals such as Junkanoo, the nation's most popular celebration. I'm sure you'll also hear a lot of tales of pirates along the way too.

The Bahamas is famous for its pristine beaches that offer a variety of settings and activities. You can lounge on the soft sand, swim in the turquoise water, or enjoy water sports such a kayaking, jet skiing or parasailing. The pink-sand beaches of Harbour Island and the secluded beaches of Sandy Point would be our recommendations but if lively is your delight of the day, head over to Nassau for a more musical and vibrant beach.
The people of The Bahamas are warm and friendly. They have a very welcoming attitude towards visitors and are always ready to share their stories, tips and smiles with you. You'll feel at home in the Bahamas as you interact with the locals and learn more about their way of life. Take their tips on the best places to eat. You have to try peas 'n' rice, fried conch and rum cake and of course, our advice would always be to wash it down and relax over an ice cold Kalik or, if you're in the mood for a cocktail, a Goombay Smash!
